This is only a few of the 120 cupcakes that was ordered for a wedding today.
Flavors were red velvet with vanilla butter cream,chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream and classic yellow butter cake with lemon butter cream. The tiny flowers are fondant. Brittney ‘s wedding colors were peach and sea-foam green. I also made a small 6″ yellow cake with vanilla/almond butter cream for the bride and groom to cut.
This was a fun cake for me to do. Most of my cakes have a lot of flowers on top. The parrot is piped using butter cream. Cake flavor is chocolate with vanilla butter cream frosting.
June has been pretty busy with birthday cakes. Here are just a few. The 90th birthday flavor, yellow butter cake with vanilla butter cream frosting and butter cream flowers. The ballerina girl was for a sweet little girl that loves ballet and also loves the color pink. Cake flavor, classic butter cake, raspberry filling with almond butter cream. The last cake was for young man who is an optometrist. Flavor, classic butter with vanilla butter cream, butter cream roses, glasses are fondant.
If you haven’t heard Pinehurst, NC is having a huge Golf tournament. The US Open being held at the Pinehurst Resort and Country Club on the famed number 2 golf course. Actually there are two tournaments, the men and the women’s being held back to back for the first time. Lots of new people here to see them. The cakes below are for a private party for about 90 people. Both cakes are yellow butter cake with vanilla butter cream. I squared them off for easy serving, each with a small design, flags, golf balls, etc.
All cakes are 9″ rounds with 3 layers and butter cream frosting.
