With the year 2009 coming to a close (today is New Years Eve) I thought I would post the last cake I made for the year 2009.
This was made in appreciation for all the hard work of the Pinehurst Country Clubs culinary team. Flavors were chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The roses were air-dried buttercream brushed with gold petal dust, other items were molded from fondant.
Thanks to all who have viewed my cakes this year. I look farward to making many more in 2010. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
