My name is Betty and I live in North Carolina. I have been baking and decorating cakes for many years, somewhere around 40 I think. I have 2 grown children (a daughter & a son) and 2 cats, TK (short for Tiger Kitty)and the latest addition is a fluffy yellow one named Sam (short for Samson). You’ll find their picture pages here in varying poses.
Since I wrote this bio, Sam has passed away in 2017. He will forever be missed. He was a very special cat. The other lovely cat in my life (TK) also passed away in 2019. We miss them very much.
I am a self taught cake decorator and continue to learn and experiment with new ideas. I love doing all types of cakes from birthday’s to wedding cakes and get much pleasure from seeing the delight in my customers eyes when they see there cake. They often say “Oh that’s to pretty to cut”, especially if the cake has my hand made butter cream flowers on it. All my cakes are iced in a delicious buttercream frosting.
