This cake was made for a special ladies birthday. Being a friend and loyal customer I know her favorite cake flavor, CHOCOLATE with vanilla butter cream. Since she’s a busy lady and always on the move she reminded me of a butterfly moving from one flower to another. So I decided to pipe a blue buttercream butterfly on her cake with yellow buttercream roses. Hope you had a great birthday Glenda.
As you can see I love to make sugar flowers….lots and lots of butter cream flowers.
It’s always fun to make a baby’s first birthday cake, that’s why I include a small 6″ cake just for the baby so the parents and guests at the party get to see how the child reacts when he or she digs into the icing. We all know when they are that age everything goes into the mouth first thing. Makes for some great pictures to share.
No real theme for this cake just lots of colorful dots …I love dots.

11 x 15 yellow sheet cake with 6″ round on top. Iced in vanilla butter cream. Butter cream roses with fondant “P”. Green and Gold school colors.
