Dots and Orchids

 I think I have made more square wedding cakes this year than ever before. This was todays cake, 6″-10″-14″-16″ squares. I’m not really fond of putting a 14′ on top of a 16″ but they needed the servings.  When stacking those 2 sizes together there’s not as much room on the 16″ as I think there should be. I guess It’s a visual thing for me. The flavors were Classic Butter cake with Vanilla /Almond buttercream frosting,  basic but very good. The fresh white orchids and sliver stand were provided by Aldena’s Floral Designs.
